AireedX 341D(Key D) is just newly released now, which is the brushed-up new model to the AireedX 331D (D-tube), the flagship model of the AireedX metal shakuhachi.
The 341D weighs approximately 68g less than 331D, and has even higher sounding efficiency and quicker response, and clearer sound contours, which results in much easier handling and performing and enables the performers to be more expressive than ever before.
Developer Yukihiko Mitsuzuka says “This is already a pleasure to play. No matter how hard I blow, I never get tired, and I feel again how stress-free it is to be able to produce sound exactly as I want. It’s slimmer and lighter than ever, and at the same time it’s more responsive, so it’s really fun to play. Since I started using this AireedX 341D, I have spent a lot of time rehearsing my band “遠TONE音” sounds. I used to be very careful in rehearsals so as not to tire myself out preparing for the real thing, but now I want to play this shakuhachi as many times as I can, it makes me want to play it.”
